DJ Premier featuring Lady of Rage - Chemical Burn

Considering how many times he has been declared “the greatest” to ever get behind the boards and his enormous tenure in music, DJ Premier doesn’t really have to do much to rile up rap fans. But, every time he releases a new production it’s something deserving of extra attention, and with the launch of his new website PremierWuzHere comes a new collaboration with old-school icon Lady of Rage. “Chemical Burn” is as lyrically corrosive as its title sounds, and features one of Lady of Rage’s strongest efforts in a long time. The production is a textbook example of classic Premier — by-the-numbers boom-bap and uplifting horns.
