With its Eyestalkers Installation, Dutch interactive studio Front404 sought to remind people that they’re constantly being monitored in what is increasingly becoming an Orwellian vision of modern society. That, or they just wanted to creep pedestrians out as they walked past an array of 20 motion-tracking eyeballs. While even the kids in the video certainly don’t seem the least bit fazed by the army of eyes following them, it remains to be seen how passers-by react at night. The installation is located near the city center of Deventer in the Netherlands, where it will remain until April 13.
