adidas Originals has teamed up with Japanese fashion label Journal Standard to present an updated look to the City Marathon PT. Updating the classic ’80s runner with fetching green uppers, the shoes feature suede hits at their forefoots, eyestays and heels, while synthetic nylon takes on the toe box and vamp, and a waffle-like midsole and rubber outsole offer classic touches. While originally designed for the marathon runner in mind, the iconic model is now heavily embraced by those in the realms of street fashion and sneaker culture. Enjoy the preview here and head to ZOZOTOWN to purchase the sneakers for ¥10,800 JPY (approximately $105 USD).
