Chevrolet recently unveiled its new 2015 Corvette Z06 Convertible ahead of the New York Auto Show. Featuring a sturdy aluminum structure, the convertible will feature a similar weight profile as the Z06 Coupe revealed at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit earlier in the year. Furthermore, the car’s frame allegedly includes other technologies that did not exist five years ago, according to the car’s chief engineer Tadge Juechter.
Similar to the Coupe under the hood, the new Z06 Convertible will also feature a 6.2L V8 engine with an output of at least 625 hp and 635lb-ft of torque. Keep up to date with the Z06 Convertible here.
