This version of the shoe highlights a different Ronaldo – the younger, Portuguese one named Christiano – and his creative showing in the 2010 South Africa games. The lightweight shoe is done up here in high-visibility Metallic Mach Purple and Total Orange, which surely aided Portugal’s no. 7 to create precision passes and perfectly-weighted shots. This version of the Mercurial Vapor IX will debut on Ronaldo’s feet on March 23, with the boot releasing to the masses here on March 24.
