adidas Originals is taking things back to 1996 this April as it resurrects the Key Trainer – the signature turf and training shoe of 1996 #1 overall NFL draft pick Keyshawn Johnson. Pulling inspiration from Johnson’s larger-than-life personality and his rookie-year team, the kicks appear as a part of adidas’s “EQT” and “Feet You Wear” ranges – thus pairing a white, black and “Hunter Green” color combination with the FYW contoured outsole to support the natural shape of the foot. Retailing for $130 USD, the OG Key Trainer is set to hit adidas Originals retailers and adidas.com April 5.
