Just recently Volcom held a special in-store event at Hong Kong’s LCX Ocean Terminal. The two-hour event served to garner added exposure for the brand’s first retail location within Hong Kong and offered a few hundred visitors the chance to make some of their own personal items and win gifts by playing Volcom’s popular Wheel Of Stone. At the end of the event, guests went home with over 60 screened tees, 80 pressed hats and over a hundred sticker packs, carabiners and beers won through The Wheel.
Reflecting on the success of the event, Volcom Asia’s GM Chris Brooks had this to say:
“We are really excited to open our first direct store in LCX Harbour City,” said Volcom Asia’s GM, Chris Brooks. “We have retail partners in locations throughout Hong Kong, and I feel this location will be a great addition to the Volcom family.
