The DURR Re-imagines Time-Telling

Taken at face value, the DURR returns a blank stare: there are no minutes to watch tick away, no subdial timers, no real movements to speak of. Instead, creators Lars Marcus Vedeler and Theo Tveterås designed the 39mm DURR to vibrate every five minutes, offering no standardized time to you except at its own random decision. Perceivably, the DURR challenges notions of how we interpret time, as what five minutes feels like can be dependent on the context. Living in the pursuit to throw watches away – as the saying goes – the DURR might be the next best thing.
