The Brodies by Jeremy Elkin

The bevy of offerings coming from the New York skateboarding scene – All City Showdown and Loony Bin amongst them – has somewhat softened the harshness of bone-chilling winds and snowstorms terrorizing the East Coast. Adding to the canon is one of the more anticipated projects of the season: The Brodies, offered by Jeremy Elkin. New footage of local legends like Rob Campbell, Akira Mowatt and Leo Gutman dispels the old ‘cellar doors and ollies’ myth, underlined by a hip-hop soundtrack sure to leave the purists happy. The video clocks in just over 16 minutes, which includes guest appearances from Aaron Herrington and Daniel Kim, leaving The Brodies an essential watch in between spreadsheets. Enjoy the video above, and be sure to pick up a hard copy from Theories of Atlantis.
