Petrolicious travels to the Netherlands in its latest installment to talk to Peter Maas, a buyer, restorer and lifetime admirer of the classic Vespa scooter. His story started at six years of age, when he broke into his grandfather’s garage where he found photos of him racing his Vespa TT. This set him on his path to buying his first Vespa at age 16, since which time Maas has continually collected and restored Vespas to their original condition, both for clients and for himself. Catch him on his 1962 Vespa GS160 as he single-handedly keeps the charmingly Italian culture of the vintage two-wheeler brand alive.
