Continuing with its acute craftsmanship that blends traditional menswear designs with a dreamy color palette, Hong Kong-born designer SixLee offers a glimpse to its 2014 fall/winter range. Painter Andy Denzler’s work is a correlating theme throughout, where glitchy hues and textures are used in sophistication — carrying out a somber mood that’s upheld by the sharpness of British tailoring alongside the abstractness of the Swiss painter. Utilizing a blend of traditional and modern fabrications, button-up shirts see metallic-styled sleeves and color block renditions, while extended hems cut like the blazer furthers the label’s unorthodox techniques. Suit pairings are overlaid by large PVC coats, while a unique accessories range — think aviator glasses and leather gloves — offers its share of mystique to the compelling line.
