Cleverly making reference to the parallels between crisp grooming and a good kit with the “Barbershop” Pack, New Balance held a launch event for the shoes in New York City. The Massachusetts-based brand took to SoHo’s Fellow Barber for the launch, inviting media friends, homies, and sneakerheads alike to peruse the three-shoe collection while enjoying a shave, cut or trim of their choice. Invitees were also encouraged (lightly) to sip on WhistlePig’s Rye Whiskey – which admittedly, tastes as proper as a fresh cut feels.
