While many found Sony’s QX line of cameras to be entirely unorthodox, it seems as though the engineers at Sony weren’t the only ones thinking out of the box. Kodak recently unveiled its own take on the emerging “lens camera” market with its PixPro Smart Lens SL10 and SL25 offerings. Meant to pair with your mobile phone via iOS or Android, it is controlled via a free app. In regards to specs, a microSD card stores images captured by either a 10x zoom at 28-280mm (SL10) or a 25x zoom at 24-600mm (SL25). The slated prices are below that of the Sony, set to ring in at $199 and $299 USD respectively for the SL10 and SL25.
