HYPEBEAST and Dapper Lou Check Out Y-3's 2014 Fall/Winter Runway Show

Following up on our coverage of Y-3‘s Fall/Winter 2014 collection debut in Paris, here we take a closer look at some of the more encapsulating pieces of the line. While sportswear of course will always be a key ingredient of Yohji Yamamoto‘s fusion concoction – evidenced by the use of technical materials on outerwear and casual pants – the label hints at a kind of regal influence with Fall/Winter 2014. This ‘champion effect’ is accomplished through use of flowing robe-like silhouettes executed in black and gold, compounded by the presence of color-blocked knit coats.
