Aptly named after the area of Brooklyn from where they hail, Flatbush Zombies having been doing more than just blowing smoke since their emergence in 2010. Working alongside Brooklyn “Beast Coast” affiliates Joey Bada$$ and the A$AP Mob, Flatbush Zombies have helped bring a new look to East Coast rap, lacing productions with a trippy, dark and affected sound. You may remember Meechy Darko, Zombie Juice and Erick Arc from their collaboration with Stussy, while the rest of the time they choose to co-sign Supreme. The trio was touring in support of their BetterOffDEAD mixtape when we linked with Juice so he could lay out his selection of Essentials for us. On top of including some nondescript tour essentials that you may expect, Juice also included a familiar pair of Oakley Frogskins and some king size Rizla papers.
