Damon Albarn "Everyday Robots" Music Video

Know for his unconventional and uncompromising aesthetics — one which often looks to the human anatomy for inspiration — British fashion designer and sculptor Aitor Throup has been announced as the creative director for Damon Albarn upcoming solo LP Everyday Robots. Albarn, the former frontman for Blur and the Gorillaz, is known for consistently pushing the boundaries to alternative music. Starting things off for the upcoming album is the music video for the lead single “Everyday Robots.” The Throup-directed CGI video features a digital rendition of Albarn slowly taking shape as the video progresses. Watch the abstract music video above and stay tuned for more from Everyday Robots, which is due to drop April 29.
