Korean designer Cy Choi presents a look at its upcoming Spring/Summer 2014 collection with a new lookbook. Centered around the theme of deconstruction and the poem “The Blue Bird” by Yoo Hee Kyung, the lineup features a selection of classic tailored jackets that allow the internal structures to become visible as well as various items that incorporate phrases and handmade details inspired by the poem. Notable pieces include the raw-cut raincoat crafted from fine wool and coated with a stiff protective film, giving a stunning textural and visual contrast. For the palette, the collection is largely based on the white, black and grey signature colors of Cy Choi accented by off-white, yellow, khaki, dark navy and sky blue.
