With the release of Kingdom‘s The Vertical XL EP via Night Slugs US offshoot Fade to Mind, we were treated to “Bankhead” — a lush number featuring fellow LA-based artist Kelela. Here, the flegling songstress provides euphoric vocals over a laid-back club-ready track. The video treatment which has sufficed as of late is a harmonic visual rendition to the lavish track. Directed by Jude MC, the clip mixes images of different exposures via a decided reference with nature. The result is an ethereal journey, blending beauty and darkness.
