After months of speculation, Kate Moss and Playboy answer the prayers of legions by confirming the supermodel’s appearance on the 60th anniversary issue of the magazine. The iconic American periodical has famously been graced with exclusive shots of other models in the past, including Naomi Campbell, Elle Macpherson and Stephanie Seymour. Old friends Mert Alas and Alan Piggot were handed the special duty to photograph Moss, said to don Playboy’s signature bunny ears, cuffs and silk stockings. Hugh Hefner has officially addressed the magazine’s decision: “She’s a worldwide celebrity and crosses the boundaries from sexual imagery to upscale modeling… It’s a natural for us.” We’d have to agree with the man. Look forward to the issue of Playboy to hit stands in December.
