With the Frankfurt Moto Show just a few days away, Jaguar takes to the blogosphere to reveal its C-X17 concept vehicle as the luxury carmaker’s first ever sports crossover. What’s more is that this model also showcases the British brand’s newly-designed unibody aluminum architecture which allows it to simultaneously manufacture several vehicles on the same production line. This new technical advancement is touted as being high-strength, lightweight and extremely stiff, whilst incorporating sustainable technologies like an alloy made from recycled raw material. The C-X17 concept is just that however, a concept, so it’s very possible this model will never see the light of day. Although, Jaguar did verify its new architecture will be first used in 2015 on a premium midsize sedan.
