INSA Launches Installation at EVISU Gallery Hong Kong

Stemming from a background in graffiti, INSA‘s flamboyant style has made its way to a number of platforms since his seminal years of tags and throw-ups, with murals, sneakers and women all playing respective canvases to his work. The UK street artist’s latest endeavor see a collaboration with EVISU. Taking his known motifs of fetishism to new depths, INSA joins forces with Alex Noble — clothing designer for Lady Gaga — to design a one-off display piece for the Japanese denim imprint. The installation shows a mannequin clad in a denim dominatrix body suit while suspended in mid-air by gold rope chains. Mixing fashion and art, INSA presents the idea of commodity as a fetish object via EVISU’s luxurious denim. Along with the installation, INSA has created a limited edition capsule collection for EVISU — featuring his illustrious stiletto-inspired graphic and bold color schemes on a range of jeans and silk scarves. The installation is now showing throughout September and can be viewed at the EVISU Gallery — part of EVISU’s latest brick and mortar in Central, Hong Kong .
