After a lengthy stint of reevaluating and reworking components of the HYPEBEAST Magazine, we’re now proud to release our fifth issue. It was during the creative process of revamping the publication that the theme of ‘Process’ came to light, as the arduous yet fulfilling journey in itself was something worth sharing. And with that, we decided to theme the fifth issue accordingly and ask others to share their own creative moments — an often overlooked aspect of productivity that when looked upon, reveals more of the story than the final product itself. As a cultural phenomenon, Supreme‘s dominating presence in our culture is something to be fascinated over and still yet to be understood by many. This is why its founder James Jebbia stands as our cover story — a concise and candid telling of how the brand came to be and all the things it never could have been. We also look at a number of notable individuals who have stayed true to their love of research and creativity, with Louis Wong, BWGH’s David Obadia, G-Star RAW‘s Shubankar Ray and Nike’s Nathan VanHook unfolding their stories of creativity within our Interview section. The issue follows on with further depictions of creation with the introduction of our Factory Visits section — where we take a look through quintessential examples of the art of manufacturing — and additional interviews with recognizable names within our industry.

The HYPEBEAST Magazine Issue 5: The Process Issue retails at $12 USD (£7.50 GBP). Get it now here at the HYPEBEAST Store and select stockists worldwide.
