A week prior to entering graphic design school, Johnny F. Kim was hired as a manager at Off The Hook, a renowned destination shop in Montreal, Canada. Upon taking the position, he immediately dropped out of his program and never looked back. With much dedication, he eventually became chief-of-operations. Working closely with owners Harry Drakopoulos and Angelo Destounis, he’s had his hands in pretty much every project that has come out of the OTH camp in the past seven years. Being able to balance both creativity and business, Johnny is a great representation of the duality between owners. Not only does he run the shop 24/7, but he also makes videos under the alias of SHOT BY JFK and has had the chance to interview many artists such as RZA, Lunice and Rick Klotz, to name a few. He’s essentially a jack-of-all-trades, having just released his own brand called Petite-Patrie, alongside French art director Laurent F. Poignot, also a big part of the OTH Family. Off The Hook has always been and is still a key reference when it comes to lifestyle in Canada.
