On the day of the release of his junior album, Drake and YMCMB also unveil a new visual for “Hold On, We’re Going Home.” The video finds the Canadian artist playing hero against a formidable opponent in a mafia-like Miami setting circa 1985. While perhaps not the most expected visual representation of the song, it’s certainly a creative solution featuring some lovely camerawork. Appearances from A$AP Rocky, Steven Bauer (aka Manolo in Scarface), and a host of other notables makes the video an irresistibly retro trip through organized crime as glorified in a certain 1983 film.
