Japanese fashion brand Minotaur has unveiled their newest lookbook for Fall/Winter 2013. Here we find the brand taking some unorthodox approaches to cold weather wear, inspired by fishing in natural bodies of water, lush green to brown transitions, and the ‘golden hour’ of the skies. Accordingly, Minotaur executes casual shirts, pants, and jackets in unexpected patterns and materials. Prime examples of this include generously tailored woolen pants, featuring cable knit patterning relieved into the sides; gradient dye plaid flannels; and thick fleece and cotton material-blocked cardigans. On paper, the pieces sound surprising, but smart pairings of radiant aqua, beige and cherry red tones make this collection worth a considerable gander. Enjoy a look through Minotaur’s Fall/Winter 2013 pieces, available to retailers in the coming weeks.
