Joaquin Phoenix & Scarlett Johansson Star in Spike Jonze's New Film 'Her'

Spike Jonze, director of Where the Wild Things Are, Adaptation and much more reveals his latest directorial creation simply titled Her. The film stars Joaquin Pheonix as an introvert who finds a new direction in his life through an artificially intelligent operating system named Samantha, voiced by the instantly-recognizable Scarlett Johansson. A departure from his hip-hop and skate video stylings from the past, the trailer gives insight into how the life of Theodore Twombly is wonderfully reconstructed through Jonze’s exquisite use of low-contrast, naturally-lit tones in this near-future comedy romance. Her is currently in post-production and is slated to release in theaters on November 20, 2013.
