Concluding its three-part YouTube series House of Mutombo, adidas Originals enlists NBA legend Dikembe Mutombo for an animated video to celebrate the August 24 re-release of his signature sneaker. In this episode the defensive specialist runs through the list of his career accomplishments from winning four Defensive Player of the Year Awards to leading his eighth-seeded Denver Nuggets in eliminating the heavily-favored Seattle SuperSonics in the 1994 playoffs. Although his play has been sorely missed, Mutombo’s legacy is carried on in the release of the adidas Mutombo.
