The summer has presented a number of challenges for renowned English soccer club Manchester United, as the team has endured the retirement of one of the most decorated managers in the entire sport – Sir Alex Ferguson. No matter the man in charge though, Manchester United’s legacy is revered around the globe, with the Red Devils’ emblem striking fear into opposing teams worldwide. For their 2013-14 campaign, United will wear a minimalist black and navy gingham shirt to represent themselves outside of Old Trafford, which harkens back to Manchester’s industrial production roots. Unveiled during United’s pre-season tour in Japan, the Nike-produced shirt is composed of recycled polyester and features moisture-wicking Dri-FIT technology.
