Storied Japanese outerwear label nanamica presents a preliminary look at its Fall/Winter 2013
Storied Japanese outerwear label nanamica presents a preliminary look at its Fall/Winter 2013 collection. Dubbed “One Ocean, All Lands,” the seasonal lookbook sees the label once again fusing the technical with the classic as performance fabrics and high-end design are coupled with an array of timeless silhouettes. Prototypical pea coats and camouflage jackets pair khaki tweed with GORE-TEX fabrics, knit caps boast THERMOLITE technology, and a range of both shirts and outerwear keep the wind at bay. Waterproof/wind-resistant/moisture-wicking Pertex also makes an appearance as fatigues and chinos appear alongside hues of navy, grey, olive and khaki throughout. Eiichiro Homma and nanamica’s latest foray into contemporary military- and heritage wear-inspired design is due out in the months ahead.
