Jaguar has just unleashed its latest creation: the Project 7 Concept roadster. Set to debut in-the-flesh at the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed, the Project 7 Concept celebrates Jaguar’s seven victories at Le Mans. Based on the current Jaguar F-Type, the Concept 7 boasts an all-aluminium body, a D-type-inspired rear fairing with built-in rollover bar, carbon fiber parts aplenty, a rear wing, and 20” wheels. Despite the racy nature of the car, the interior remains well-appointed, with diamond-quilted leather and carbon fiber trim. The passenger seat has been ditched in favor of a custom helmet holder for the special Project 7 helmet. Powering the roadster is a 5.0-liter V8 good for 550 horsepower and 502 lb-ft of torque. All that power means this concept will go from 0-62 mph in 4.2 seconds and onto an electronically limited top speed of 186 mph. Unfortunately, this will probably remain just a concept so enjoy the pictures and video.
