Civilist Berlin x Nike SB Dunk High Premium

Taking inspiration from beloved skate spot and modern art gallery Neue Nationalgalerie (New National Gallery) in the heart of the German capital, Berlin’s own Civilist has created a special edition high-top Dunk in conjunction with Nike SB. Sporting an upper of black and anthracite leather and suede that represents the steel frame and darkened windows of the Ludwig Mies van der Rohe-designed structure, the kicks feature a quilted heel and patterned tongue reminiscent of the museum’s interior, while the waxed cotton laces are a nod to the bevy of waxed ledges that dot the building’s grounds and gardens. Finished with a contrasting white midsole, the Civilist Berlin x Nike SB Dunk High Premium dropped in-store in limited quantities on Thursday, July 4 and will be available at the likes of Korea’s Kasina beginning Friday, July 5.
