Founded on the principle that tough labor is much easier to tackle when wearing the proper workwear, it’s no surprise that Carhartt’s experienced craftsmanship shines bright when producing cold weather-appropriate garments. That paradigm continues to its street-infused line Carhartt WIP where today the diffusion line premiered its 2013 fall/winter collection via its main site. Utilizing a mostly tonal color palette that includes a deep burgundy, bright orange, raincoat yellow, blues, and of course Carhartt’s ever-present tan, the forthcoming range offers a slew of outerwear and layering garments alike. Standouts include a pair of camouflage-adorned tapered trousers, few choice knit sweaters, quilted jackets with a hood, a button-up with a camouflage print lining each sleeve, fur-hood snorkels, and a crewneck sweatshirt that reads “BEWARE OF THE DUCK.” Expect Carhartt WIP’s Fall/Winter 2013 collection to soon be available at select stockists and via its own online store.
