Leading up to his sophomore album Hall of Fame set to drop next month, Big Sean continues the anticipation via this latest release. While “Fire” made its debut last week during Wireless Festival along side performance from Jay Z, Justin Timberlake and Rihanna, the official CDQ version is now available. Lined with a pounding kick-drum and a live choir sample loop, the laid-back offering is reminiscent of production on Kanye’s Late Registration album, hence it comes as no surprise that it’s found a home on G.O.O.D. Music. Stepping away from hard-hitting tracks like “Guap” and ” Switch Up,” this latest release sees a more poignant side of the rapper, in which he even shares with us the rare use of his falsetto. Hall of Fame is due September 27, stay tuned for more on releases.
