A Quadcopter's Footage of Niagara Falls

Bordering New York and Ontario, Niagara Falls is the collective name for three waterfalls – the Horseshoe Falls, American Falls and Bridal Beil Falls – that come together to from the highest flow rate of any waterfall in the world, with a vertical drop of more than 165 feet. Shaped during the last ice age, today Niagara Falls serves as a popular attraction to worldly travelers and a valuable source of hydroelectric power. Utilizing a DJI Phantom quadcopter equipped with a GoPro Hero 3 camera, Matt Quest of Animation Fascination was able to capture some captivating footage of the world famous falls. Although he encountered some technical troubles and less than ideal weather, Quest was able to spend 20 minutes capturing aerial footage, which he later edited down to five minutes and attached the track “The In-Between” by A New Normal.
