Hosted this week at New York’s S.O.B.’s, Reebok Classics recently celebrated the 30th anniversary of its Classic Leather silhouette. A brand that has long struck a nice balance between the heritage of its archival running silhouettes and more technical footwear options with the need for lifestyle integration, the Classic Leather has been a staple for the brand. Coinciding with the release of the Classics’ “City Series” range curated by celebrated artist Stash, the event showcased some of the key collaborations and projects that have been executed on the Classic Leather. The event also saw attendance from Stash who opened up about the City Series project alongside fellow artist contributors, Totem (Atlanta), Tati (Miami) and Wane (New York).
The latter half of the night kicked off with live performances and sets from Ace Hood, Travi$ Scott, Kirko Bangz, Doug E Fresh’s son’s Trips N ‘Slimm and Freeway. The new City Classics collection will drop at retailers beginning July 1st via outlets like Foot Locker, Finish Line, Footaction and Reebok.com.
