Taking inspiration via West Africa, Missoni presents its 2014 spring/summer collection comprising of reworked safari shirts, high-waisted trousers, and the label’s signature knitwear pieces. Head-turning pieces include the plaid trousers and jacket in varying shades of indigo, blue and grey. More notably, this season also sees a collaboration with British menswear label Hancock of Scotland to introduce a new loom knit made with a rubber-coated yarn, which was used to create a couple of outerwear pieces. The overall aesthetic of the collection strikes a nice balance between wearability and comfort that blend seamlessly into the all-over print and pattern realm that Missoni is so accustomed to.
