Our coverage of Hideo Kojima’s fifth installment to the Metal Gear Solid franchise continues today as we present an extended director’s cut trailer seen at E3 in Los Angeles. The above nine-minute preview highlights Kojima Productions’ newest improvements to MGS thanks in part to its cross-platform Fox Engine developed specifically for next-generation video games. Fans both young and old are granted a look at Snake’s new world travels, enhanced stealth modes, a seemingly endless supply of transportation options, in-game characters, modified CQC tactics, and much more. Unfortunately, gamers will have to wait a few more months before Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain releases on both the current and upcoming game consoles.
