Introducing the latest 2013 summer eyewear collection from Belgian designer Kris Van Assche — the 30C and 37C D-frame sunglasses. True to the label’s core aesthetic in merging high quality materials into a minimal body of design, the sunglasses boast premium acetate construction that is matched with a black rubber finish, giving the eyewear an uncharacteristic texture that is unique in feel yet provide a more secure sensation when worn. The two models are predominately differentiated in the bridge and lens shape — the 30C incorporates a more curved bridge with more distinct D-shaped lenses, while the 37C sees a straight bridge with lenses that border on a rectangular structure. The sunglasses are further accented with an absence of rubber at the nose and bridge, revealing either a shiny burgundy or shiny black frame. Other details include engraved metal temple tips, four pronounced hinge screws and metal nose pads. The made in Japan KRISVANASSCHE 2013 Sunglasses Collection retails for $300 USD and is available now at all KVA stockists including our online store.
