Google Introduce Project Loon to Provide Access to the Internet Everywhere

Google this week rolled out and launched 30 balloons across New Zealand to put to test a theory that would potentially provide Internet to rural areas via scattered balloons throughout the globe. The project, which is being called “Project Loon,” effectively positions balloons at a distance of about 12 miles above Earth whose locations are built upon stratospheric rings. The goal is for the balloons to be able to project Internet connectivity to the Earth below. Admittedly, Google and Project Loon’s managers are in agreement that there are a wealth of terrestrial challenges to ensuring the connectivity of the Earth below such as jungles and mountains, but Project Loon is nonetheless a great forward-thinking advancement in connecting the entire globe through the truly World Wide Web.
