Sole Classics x Vans Vault "Carmen" Era

The Vans Vault presents its first collaboration with the Ohio-based Sole Classics. Owner Dionte Johnson believes the shoe designing creative process has lost its meaning and has breathed life back into it with this rendition of the Era. The “Carmen” blends colors that may seem incompatible, but together they represent Ohio and its cultural history. Every facet of the shoe symbolizes the state in some way – from the solid red sole, to the white canvas upper that fades to a golden yellow, to the football leather heel tab, to the green and navy laces, and even the orange Vans tag. The shoes will be available in store only at Sole Classics on May 25 in limited quantities and online at Kingsrowe. Until then, keep up with the story on Instagram @SoleClassics and check the website for the full inspiration story.
