A month ago, El-P and Killer Mike announced their partnership as Run The Jewels by releasing the single “Get It.” For their second single, they recruit Killer Mike’s currently injured tour mate, Big Boi, who fits the beat perfectly. In a way, “Banana Clipper” is reminiscent of a darker version of Big Boi’s “Shutterbug,” so it’s not a huge surprise that Daddy Fat Sax kills it. Run The Jewels’ self-titled album will be released in June for free via Fool’s Gold Records and will be followed by a tour with Despot and Kool A.D. starting in July. For complete dates, click here.
