Nike Sportswear‘s Solarsoft Moccasin has undoubtedly been a cult footwear favorite this season thanks to a simple design, plush cushioning, and a wallet-friendly price point – philosophies seemingly lifted right out of the Roshe Run‘s formula for success. It was only a matter of time then that the think tank at NSW updated the understated aesthetic with a hybrid design – thus enters the aptly dubbed Nike Solarsoft Chukkasin. Retaining the original’s thick foam cushioning, the new chukka-inspired look features a mid-top version of the Moccasin’s upper and pairs premium features like a perforated leather toe box, smooth leather paneling, a nubuck heel, quilted lining, and waxed cotton laces with quarter panels that lay a diamond, scale-like motif atop a classic tiger camo graphic. Complete with a predominately black and grey color scheme, the unique Solarsoft Chukkasin is expected to make its debut at Nike retailers in the near future.
