Lance Armstrong’s legendary career has been irrevocably altered since he admitted to using performance-enhancing drugs earlier this year. The resulting fallout has been a spectacle, most recently resulting in Nike opting out of its relationship with the Livestrong Foundation – which Lance Armstrong originally founded. Livestrong, a foundation dedicated to the service and aid of cancer patients worldwide, will still receive financial support from Nike. However, the foundation will now be left without its primary corporate backer – an unprecedented dent in the shining legacy of a partnership that raised over $100 million for cancer patients.
