Luxury fashion house Louis Vuitton is set to produce a new timepiece in celebration of one of the oldest active international trophies: The America’s Cup. The fashion brand has been commissioned as the official timekeeper of the iconic yachting race and as such has unveiled its Tambour Regatta America’s Cup to the world. The watch has been produced in two versions – Automatic and Quartz – both of which have been specifically engineered to meet the demands of the race. The chronograph boasts exciting specifications that include steel casing molded with black rubber, a water-resistant body (up to 100m), and an America’s Cup silhouette impressed in the band. Look for both the Quartz and Automatic versions in Louis Vuitton stores for $6,250 USD and $11,600 USD, respectively.
