NOWNESS is busy working on a series that gives us a rare glimpse into the homes of different star designers and architects including Australian designer Marc Newson and German artist Rolf Sachs. In this particular installment of the video series, we get to see what kind of crib Milan-based Claudio Silvestrin, architect for the likes of Kanye West and Giorgio Armani, has designed for himself. Located in east London, Silvestrin’s minimalist apartment stows away clutter, allowing the effects of the dynamic lighting and shadows to be fully appreciated. “This is a space to reflect in,” says Silvestrin, and the serenity of the blank white walls, interrupted only by natural materials such as stone and wood, would suggest just that. If you liked this one and want to check out spaces from the other designers, feel free to head over to the designboom article here.
