GQ Profiles Daft Punk for its May 2013 Issue
As the anticipation for Daft Punk‘s Random Access Memories grows, the duo has seen increased media coverage from various outlets. This is somewhat ironic considering most of the articles note the band’s reservedness and their reluctance to reveal much about the album – or their lives beyond the helmets for that matter. Regardless, the latest hype on ‘The Robots’ comes in the form of a profile by GQ‘s Zach Baron. The profile serves as exactly that: contextualizing Daft Punk now as they stand against their own 16-year career, exploring what influences played into their most recent work, and why exactly they wear those masks. Enjoy the full article here and in print form via the May 2013 issue of GQ.
