Referred to by some as the “Michael Jordan of skateboarding,” those who are familiar with Eric Koston are also familiar with the respect and admiration he holds within the skateboarding sphere. Having dominated and innovated within the landscape since turning pro in 1992, Koston has managed to not only diversify his influence through the years, but he has also maintained his title as one of — if not the best — to ever touch a skateboard. In their latest This is video series, Desillusion Magazine has aligned with Koston for a nearly nine-minute short film highlighting a bit of his back story as well as his future plans. The well-shot video sees Koston opening up about his past and the inroads that he made early on into becoming a pro skater, as well as shedding light on Koston’s family life and his thoughts on the longevity of his career.
