Tapping the classic ZX 500 for yet another retro release, adidas Originals has teamed up with UNITED ARROWS once again to craft a collaborative piece of footwear for Summer 2013. Following in the footsteps of last year’s espadrille-inspired Rod Laver, this season’s drop sees the ZX 500 with OG construction of mesh and suede alongside a cross-country color palette of white, grey and forest green. Standing out from the otherwise subtle appearance are fluorescent green accents on the rubber outsole, midsole branding and extra set of laces. The latest edition of the iconic ’80s runner is due out on May 2 for ￥12,600 JPY (approximately $127 USD).
