Ressence Type 3 Watch
Looks can be deceiving, and it would be an underestimation to call Ressence’s new Type 3 watch
Looks can be deceiving, and it would be an underestimation to call Ressence’s new Type 3 watch anything less than a progression. The Type 3, which was developed over the course of a year, suspends its subdials within a larger liquid core, around which the second, minute and hour features revolve. While there is no ‘bezel’ necessarily (the closest that exists is the centerpiece that secures the crystal and dials together), a rotating date indicator rests on the outside of the casing. On the back of this futuristic timepiece is a gravitational gear system that allows users to adjust the time, a feature that does away with a crown on the side. The Ressence Type 3 will be available for €23,000 EUR (approximately $29,545 USD) on the brand’s web shop in the coming weeks.
