Pharrell Sheds Light on His Collaboration with Daft Punk

After this weekend’s preview of “Get Lucky,” an irresistibly catchy cut from Daft Punk‘s forthcoming Random Access Memories, Pharrell sits down with VICE and The Creators Project to discuss the details of his work on the album. The iconic producer gives a dreamlike recount of approaching the group (who he casually refers to as ‘the Robots’), flying to Paris to exchange recent work, and ultimately, finding the creative synergy that led to the creation of the song. Pharrell states things eloquently in his own unique, poetic way, in turn creating more hype for what will surely be one of the crowning jewels of 2013. Random Access Memories is expected to release in the U.S. on May 21.
